Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using My Prayer Connect, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use My Prayer Connect. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the prayer requests and content you submit. You grant My Prayer Connect the limited right to store, display, and share that content according to the visibility settings you choose. Please do not share private or sensitive information about others without their permission.

4. Group membership and codes

Group leaders control activation codes and membership. Leaders may remove members or transfer leadership to another member. Members may leave a group at any time. Do not share activation codes with people the group leader has not approved.

5. SMS reminders and messaging

My Prayer Connect may send optional text-message reminders for group prayer meetings and calendar events. You must opt in to receive SMS reminders; we will not send you text messages without your explicit consent. Message frequency is determined by your prayer group's meeting schedule and reminder settings, and you may receive up to several messages per week. Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You can opt out of SMS reminders at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us, or by turning off SMS reminders in your account settings. To opt back in, reply START, YES, UNSTOP, or re-enable reminders in your settings. If you need help, reply HELP or contact us at info@myprayerconnect.com. Your phone number is used only for reminders you have requested; other group members and leaders cannot see it unless you choose to share it.

6. Calendar subscription links

The personal calendar subscription is off by default. If you turn it on, we issue a private link that publishes your groups' meeting details (names, dates, times, locations, and leader notes) to any calendar app that has the link. Prayer requests are never included. You are responsible for keeping the link private; anyone you give it to can see those meeting details. You can reset the link or turn the subscription off at any time from your Account page, which stops the old link from working.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use My Prayer Connect to harass, spam, abuse, or mislead others; to share illegal content; or to attempt to access data or accounts that do not belong to you. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Service availability

My Prayer Connect is provided as-is, free of charge. We aim to keep the service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, My Prayer Connect and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for other reasonable operational reasons.
